When buying a new home a Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) Inspection is recommended. In some cases it will be required. Some home inspection companies perform these duties during the Home Inspection. I prefer to leave these inspections to a Licensed Professional Pest Control Company. Progressive Home Services does not perform WDI Inspections, but we can arrange a professional pest control company to perform these Inspections (in most cases) while I do the Home Inspection. When two Inspectors, instead of one, are inspecting confined areas such as crawlspaces the chances of errors are greatly reduced.
